Last week, Eve released the official artwork to Lip Lock, which is her first album in thirteen years. After multiple setbacks and her relationship with Dr. Dre getting tense, Eve is finally ready to release her album. Taking such a long time off, Eve has definitely missed out on quite a few hip hop changes.
At one point, Eve was considered to be one of the greatest females emcees. Coming back after a long time, Eve does not want to be taken so seriously. But, Eve definitely has momentum building. “She Bad Bad” and “Make it Out This Town” both have done pretty well for her.
On the album, Eve is working with popular independent rapper, Propain. Gabe Saporta also appears on “Make it Out This Town,” meanwhile Pusha T appears on the official remix of “She Bad Bad.” Eve plans to release her Lip Lock album next month and will be contending with Havoc and LL Cool J, two other comeback kids.
