Providing the hip hop element in the third season of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” is Lore’l, along with the more-known rappers, Joe Budden and Consequence. Until her role in front of the masses on “Love & Hip Hop,” Lore’l’s claim to fame was being a member of Red Cafe’s Shakedown label. This has caused a bit of controversy.
It turns out Lore’l’s frienemyship with Winter Ramos would cost her. Shown onscreen, her coming out to Winter’s book reading proved to be an embarrassing moment. Best friends became enemies once Winter Ramos detailed Lore’l’s tryst with Red Cafe, along with other major rappers.
Different from many other journalists in hip hop media, Sway Calloway allows people to tell their sides of the story. In the media, Lore’l has gotten a bad rap for all of the rumors about her and Red Cafe. When Lore’l appeared on Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning,” she talked about her relationship with Red Cafe.
