In 2009, Rick Ross made a major play to advance himself in the rap game. Until this period of time, Rick Ross only was known for a couple of Southern anthems. But, all of this was soon set to change. Rick Ross openly took shots at 50 Cent and formed one of the top hip hop/R&B duos with John Legend.
Everything started with “Magnificent” and since then Rick Ross has kept John Legend involved with his projects. John Legend has since crooned on Teflon Don and Rick Ross’ album-quality mixtape, Rich Forever. Always appearing on Rick Ross’ records, John Legend decided to return the favor with “Who Do We Think We Are.”
Recently, VIBE TV went behind the scenes of the “Who Do We Think We Are” music video shoot. While behind the scenes, VIBE had the opportunity to talk to John Legend and Rick Ross about their music. The two have been frequently collaborating over the past four years.
