Casey Veggies talks leaving Odd Future with Vlad TV [VIDEO]

With Kendrick Lamar being the current clear front runner of this revamped Los Angeles hip hop scene, there has been a shuffle for the second spot. Though it is still up for debate, Casey Veggies made a major step in the right direction with his Life Changes street album. Indeed, Casey Veggies knows all about “life’s changes.”

Before Casey Veggies became the breakout solo star he is, he was a member of the camp led by Tyler, the Creator, Odd Future. However, before the mainstream hip hop world tuned into the “New West” movement, Casey Veggies left the crew. Very few have realized the past affiliation, however.

Casey Veggies recently stopped by Vlad TV and he talked about his prior relationship with Odd Future. Typically, when a member leaves a crew, it is due to beef. When Ice Cube left NWA, it was the center of a major feud. This is not the case, at least not in the situation with Casey Veggies, as he explained.
