Though he came from an independent circuit, Tyler, the Creator became the most-discussed rapper in the game in 2011. Goblin was released independently in 2011 and it led to breakout success for Tyler, the Creator. At the time, he was the leader of the “New West” and also appeared on Game’s The R.E.D. Album.
During this period of time, Tyler, the Creator would take home ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Back in 2011, Tyler, the Creator announced his Wolf album would be released in 2012. Instead, Tyler, the Creator held off and decided to release the album in 2013.
While the release date for the album is nearing, Tyler, the Creator announced he has some new music in the works. Preparing to release the upcoming album, Tyler, the Creator recently released the track listing for the project. Tyler, the Creator plans to release Wolf on April 2.
