Close to seven years have passed since J. Dilla last graced the world with his presence and he is still dearly missed. Considered by many among the greatest producers of all-time, his music continues to have an impact on the rap game. His hip hop cohorts still miss him and that includes Talib Kweli.

Through the music, J. Dilla lives on and his memory is honored as much as possible. A music maker, J. Dilla also was a music lover and both contributed to his legacy. In twelve years, his love for music led to him producing for A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and Busta Rhymes, among others.
