Ever since Kendrick Lamar released Section.80, he has been among the biggest hip hop topics discussed. On the strength of a street album, Kendrick Lamar caught the attention of the rap game. Fellow Compton rapper, Game, who always supported Kendrick Lamar, invited him to appear on The R.E.D. Album.

Kendrick Lamar took the game over in 2012, releasing several hit singles and in consecutive order. Currently riding the success of “Poetic Justice,” featuring Drake, there has been a lot of talk about the next single. Young Guru previewed a remix of “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” featuring Jay-Z at SXSW 2013.

All week, Kendrick Lamar has been in Austin, Texas for SXSW 2013. While in Texas, the “good kid” has been making his media rounds. Kendrick Lamar stopped by Shade 45’s makeshift studio to speak with Sway Calloway for “Sway in the Morning” where he talked about the “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” remix.
