Crews are in and they have been taken back to their original purpose through the likes of the Joey Bada$$-led Pro Era and Flatbush Zombies. While Flatbush Zombies are having much success, Pro Era is the biggest talk in New York City. Expanding into much more than music, Joey Bada$$ leads the group and also works for Ecko.
Along with the rest of the Pro Era crew, Joey Bada$$ has left New York City for the much hotter (temperature-wise) Austin, Texas. The reason for everyone arriving in the Texas capital is because of the annual SXSW festivals. Initially a large film festival, hip hop has taken SXSW over in recent years.
Nardwaur has interviewed many of the biggest rappers in the game. Rapidly, Joey Bada$$ is becoming another of rap’s biggest names. Known for getting the exclusive on the majors, Nardwaur caught up with Joey Bada$$ and Nardwaur at SXSW 2013 where they opened up about the plans they have for the rest of the year.
