Out West, there has been a revolution, of sorts. Suddenly, the West Coast has gone from having next to no current artists out to being the hottest breeding group in hip hop, as it currently stands. Several artists from the West helped put this in motion and the world knows Kendrick Lamar best for this.
Early in 2011, the West Coast lost a legend when popular crooner, Nate Dogg died. A popular singer in the game, Nate Dogg did songs with all of the biggest West Coast artists, including Snoop Dogg and Warren G, together they made 213. Jarell Perry appears to be the heir apparent to Nate Dogg.
Jarell Perry is best-known for his odes and has songs out with a few New West artists. On his Simple Things mixtape, Jarell Perry has Thurz featured on it. Today, Jarell Perry released the mixtape cover and track listing to Simple Things. The project is due in four days, on March 18.
