Suffering from Success, DJ Khaled is always a very busy man. Recently, however, he has gotten much busier. In 2010, DJ Khaled signed a solo deal with Cash Money Records with plans of moving his entire label over. Last summer, DJ Khaled accomplished this mission, thus making We the Best Music Group siblings with Young Money.
Despite We the Best Music Group being a subsidiary of Cash Money Records, they are still snatching up talent left and right. Taking a break in 2012, Ace Hood has gotten off to a fast start in 2013 with his new singles. On the other side of things, DJ Khaled has added new artists to the label, starting with Vado.
Lee Beats received much media attention during the summer of 2012, as he produced the summer anthem, “Pop That,” by French Montana with Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. Now, it looks like Lee Beats needs to get used to seeing much more of Drake, as he has signed to Cash Money Records through We the Best. DJ Khaled spoke on this.
