“Back before ya know it, what it look like Shawty?,” T.I. rapped five years ago before mending fences with Shawty Lo. Closing out 2012, there were many rappers who were over due for a comeback fans could think of. Few thought Shawty Lo would be in this number, but he was.
Music was only one part of Shawty Lo’s comeback, however. Instead of immediately planning to release new music, Shawty Lo revealed he was joining Game and T.I. as reality show dads. Controversial, at best, Shawty Lo previewed “All My Babies’ Mamas,” which was set to premiere on Oxygen.
Based on Shawty Lo having eleven children by ten mothers, several organizations spoke out and they got Shawty Lo’s show cancelled before it even aired. Shawty Lo fought, using his “Petition” single and I’m Da Man 4 mixtape to get his show on some network. Vlad TV talked to Shawty Lo and he spoke on his plans to bring the show back to life and he explained how it was not as bad as it sounded.
