There is no holding hip hop back, no matter how it is viewed in the public. Comparable to other forms of music, hip hop has proven to be multi-faceted and has room for some of everyone. Detroit, for the longest time, was only known for having Eminem and his affiliates as mainstream stars, but Big Sean changed this.
With Big Sean being the first non-Shady artist to emerge to mainstream success. Now, there are many other Detroit rappers rising to the forefront. Liv Fli, who is signed to the major independent label, Canorous Records, is another artist emerging from Detroit. A number of singles have leaked off his upcoming mixtape, A Night at the W.
Featuring the hit singles, “Work the Pole,” with Stuey Rock and Neph City, and also “Friday Night,” featuring SirRock, Liv Fli is ready to release the new mixtape. With both singles being released exclusively through Hip Hop Vibe, A Night at the W will also come as an exclusive release on March 15.
