A young rapper, Kendrick Lamar took Top Dawg Ent. to new heights and told the story of a good kid growing up in Compton. In 2011, Game reached out to Kendrick Lamar and featured him on The R.E.D. Album.
Kendrick Lamar properly used his co-signs from Game and Snoop Dogg and it led to him signing with Aftermath Entertainment. With Dr. Dre by his side, Kendrick Lamar put his good kid, m.A.A.d. city album out to critical acclaim. In an age where new music never stops coming, fans are waiting on Kendrick Lamar to drop again and the wait will be long.
When Kendrick Lamar stopped by Hot 97, he explained his debut album and spoke on his sophomore album. Reluctant to release his new album any time soon, Kendrick has chosen to wait to release it. Kendrick Lamar fully explained why he has decided to wait on releasing his album during his Hot 97 interview.
