Though he is overlooked in the wake of Chief Keef, Rockie Fresh, and Lil Reese, it is highly likely that Sir Michael Rocks is Chicago’s biggest newer artist. Six years ago, the world was introduced to Sir Michael Rocks through The Cool Kids. In recent years, however, Sir Michael Rocks has been solo.

Fresh off the release of Lap of Lux 1.5, Sir Michael Rocks is working on his new project, which is called Banco. While working on this new project, Sir Michael Rocks has watched his profile continue to rise. Most recently, Sir Michael Rocks has been working closely with Curren$y.

Sir Michael Rocks recently took time out to talk to XXL about some of the new projects he had in the works. With XXL, Sir Michael Rocks explained that Banco will be an EP, instead of a new album. During the interview, Sir Michael Rocks also explained that he has not signed with Jet Life, but they are affiliated and that he thinks The Cool Kids should go solo.
