One of the most-promising members out of the entire Brick Squad camp was Slim Dunkin, who was on the verge of superstardom. After building up a strong buzz in 2011, Slim Dunkin was putting the final touches on his work for early 2012. A year poised to be the year Slim Dunkin’s career took off was a year he never had the chance to see, all due to his brutal murder.
Though Brick Squad has enjoyed much success over the past couple of years, they carry a heavy heart due to Slim Dunkin’s death. There is a void that can never be filled and most evidence points to this all being because of Young Vito. A studio session gone wrong led to the unnecessary murder of one of hip hop’s brightest stars.
Close to one year after Young Vito was indicted, the trial for Slim Dunkin’s murder has begun. Now three days deep, Young Vito has been called to the witness stand. Young Vito took the stand and explained the situation, from his own point of view. Vinson Hardimon is Young Vito’s birth name.
