In the world of Birdman, all press is good press and his company is all over the place with various stories. Never before has Vado had any interaction with Birdman or his label. During the promotion of Slime Flu 3, Vado announced a deal with DJ Khaled’s label, We the Best Music Group, which is under Cash Money Records.

On the other end of the spectrum, Lil Wayne has been in the headlines because of his controversial Emmett Till line on Future’s “Karate Chop.” In addition to this, Lil Wayne has also taken aim at Miami, as a whole. Meanwhile, Ace Hood and Tyga have new albums in the works, while Nicki Minaj does “American Idol.”

Meanwhile, Drake has returned from his 2012 hiatus, stopping the game with his breakout hit, “Started from the Bottom.” Drake went on to announce his third studio album, Nothing Was the Same. Birdman recently talked to MTV News about Drake’s upcoming album.
