Perhaps the most-iconic group in hip hop is the Wu-Tang Clan. Several members of the clan have been experiencing much solo success. Among the hottest members doing their own thing is Raekwon. Taking last year off, Raekwon did release his Unexpected Victory mixtape and did his Canadian tour.
Coming into 2013, Wu-Tang fans were expecting the crew to reunite. During the closing months of 2012, Method Man said the crew would definitely reunite in 2013 with a new album. Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and RZA have all discussed the potential of a follow-up to 2007’s 8 Diagrams.
Yesterday, Raekwon appeared on MTV’s “RapFix Live.” Raekwon talked to Sway Calloway about several things. Given Raekwon’s iconic affiliation, naturally he was asked about his membership in Wu-Tang and what it would take to reunite. Among other things, Raekwon told Sway the business had to be right.
