Birdman has the hottest roster in hip hop all signed to Cash Money Records. Several of the biggest rappers in the game, including Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, and Ace Hood are signed to Cash Money Records. With the Young Money subsidiary taking off, the label is often referred to as YMCMB.
Last year, Cash Money Records took the year off. Several mixtapes came from the label and Nicki Minaj released an album. However, this was all in preparation for a much bigger year in 2013. Lil Wayne, Drake, Ace Hood, and Tyga all have albums set to be released later this year.
Possibly stepping into Maybach Music’s lane, Birdman has a YMCMB compilation album in the works. Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle is the name of the compilation album from the crew. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is preparing his album on March 26, Tyga is due on April 9, and Ace Hood is due on July 16, meanwhile Drake has no release date.
