There were a lot of sensations in 2012, but the original was Kirko Bangz. “Drank in My Cup” had the sound and the vibe most could not help but like. Given the strong response, many felt an album was coming.
Instead, Kirko Bangz continued releasing mixtapes and the fans stuck with him. Mixtapes have surpassed albums in the eyes of most fans, anyway. But, Kirko Bangz still wants to release an official album.
Hip Hop Wired recently launched a new web series, “Hip Hop Wired Sessions,” where they talk to rappers about their upcoming work and have them kick a freestyle. Kirko Bangz previewed what fans should expect from his upcoming debut album and some other things. Most importantly, Kirko Bangz dropped off a freestyle.
