Before the end of the year, Lil Wayne leaked a song off I Am Not a Human Being 2, which is due later this year. “Good Kush & Alcohol” is the name of the song and it featured Drake and Future. Two months later, Lil Wayne is now pushing the song as a single off the album and it is now known as “Love Me.”
During the “Tony Montana” craze, Lil Wayne reached out to Future to join Drake on the song. Surprisingly, Future turned Lil Wayne down, stating he did not want to appear as if he was using Young Money’s name to gain fame. Future is clearly his own man now, having a stronger year than Lil Wayne and Drake in 2012.
Lil Wayne and Future now have several collaborations under their belt, as does Drake with the Atlanta talent. MTV was on the set for the “Love Me” video shoot and released the footage. In the latest clip, they also captured footage of Lil Wayne discussing the new single.
