With both being rappers, there was a lot of talk about Joe Budden and Consequence joining the cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop.” Both rappers, despite their recurring capacity, have become the stars of the show. However, Joe Budden and Consequence have not quite been the best of friends.
When Consequence talked to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” he was asked about how he felt about Joe Budden. Responding to Joe Budden saying he would never collaborate with Consequence, he had choice words for the Jersey City rapper. Hot 97 invited the cast of “Love & Hip Hop” to do an interview, where Joe Budden confronted Consequence.
Joe Budden confronting Consequence immediately went viral. In the time since then and his album dropping, Joe Budden has been relatively silent. Sway Calloway managed to break this silence when he had Joe Budden come in for his Shade 45 show, “Sway in the Morning.” In addition to talking about confronting Consequence, Joe Budden performed “NBA,” which features Wiz Khalifa and French Montana.
