Taking much time off before TM103, Young Jeezy was expected to release a new album in 2012, along with a CTE compilation. While no album came, Young Jeezy did manage to sign a new artist, Tone Trump. In addition to adding Tone Trump to the CTE roster, Young Jeezy closed 2012 with his It’s Tha World mixtape.

The lead single off the mixtape was “Get Right,” which many felt was aimed at his former affiliates with BMF. After releasing the song, Young Jeezy received several disses from BMF members, Bleu DaVinci and Calico Jonez. However, Young Jeezy has kept everything positive on his end, as he has more music in the works.

“RIP,” which features 2 Chainz, was included on the mixtape. Probably preparing an album to be released in 2013, Young Jeezy has made “RIP” the next single off It’s Tha World. Several photos from the “RIP” music video shoot were leaked to the internet. Among those present for the shoot include Big Sean, Draya, Snoop Dogg, YG, Nelly, T.I., and Warren G.
