Among the standout rookies of 2011 were Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa. There were many other major rookies to emerge and they all revealed their new albums would be released in 2012. Big Sean said his album would be released in 2012, but he said it would come sometime after Cruel Summer.

Cruel Summer was met with several delays, but the album ended up being released in the closing days of summer in September. Due to the delays and him putting too much into his Detroit mixtape, Big Sean decided to push his album back until 2013. Hall of Fame was initially set for a January release, but was delayed.

In Los Angeles for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Big Sean will be featured on Game’s upcoming new single, “All That (Lady),” alongside Jeremih, Lil Wayne, and Fabolous. But, when Rap-Up.com spoke to Big Sean, he talked about the Hall of Fame guests, which will include Common and Nas, and he revealed plans of Eminem hearing the album.
