A decade ago, Eve decided to take her career in a different direction. Growing well outside of music, Eve had become a brand of her own. Capitalizing off this, Eve decided to launch her own clothing line, Fetish. In addition to her clothing line, UPN reached out to Eve and they gave her a sitcom, which was self-titled.
From 2003 to 2006, Eve played the role of sitcom star. Along with the television sitcom, Eve’s clothing line also did well, early on. However, by the end of 2006, Eve had no sitcom and her clothing line had also gone under. In 2007, Eve decided to make her return to the rap game, coinciding with planned comebacks from Ja Rule and DMX.
Unfortunately, there would be another six years before Eve officially came back. While she currently resides in London, Eve is making her comeback. Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” spoke on Eve’s current residence, why she was away from the game for so long, and of course the comeback she is putting together.
