Next month, Lil Wayne plans to release his often-delayed album, I Am Not a Human Being 2, the sequel to his second 2010 album. Despite releasing his “No Worries” single and linking back with Turk and Juvenile, Lil Wayne did not deliver an album. But, in 2013, Lil Wayne will more than make up for it.
During the actual work week, Lil Wayne released the official cover for his new album, sparking much discussion. In the hip hop world, Lil Wayne may play a smaller part than he once did, but he is one of few artists guaranteed platinum albums. The others are his own Young Money artists, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
With NOLA.com, Lil Wayne talked about his album cover, the album, Trukfit, and more. In a separate interview, Lil Wayne was asked about Nicki Minaj’s high-profile role as a judge on “American Idol.” As was the case when she and Drake released their debut albums, Lil Wayne said he has not watched her yet.
