It looks as though Vado may have his run in the spotlight after all. Back in 2010, Vado appeared as if he would become the next big thing from New York City. The city had been struggling since Jay-Z exited the game with The Black Album. But, Vado had much momentum behind him as the newest member of Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana’s Dipset.

Vado got off to a quick start and he soon landed a deal with Interscope Records. After years of sitting on the roster, Vado decided to leave. Kendrick Lamar and French Montana both joined the label after Vado, but already had scheduled albums. This, along with feeling the need to be back on the East Coast led to Vado’s departure and negotiation with DJ Khaled.

But, when XXL talked to Vado, the discussion focused on his love for Rugby Ralph Lauren. Of course, the music in hip hop is important, but the style also plays an important part. During the interview, Vado has talked about the fashion, which many rappers partake in. Several rappers have, or had, clothing lines and deals, including Jay-Z and Cam’ron.
