Two of the first members of the “New West” to gain national exposure were Terrace Martin and Jay Rock. Terrace Martin had a notable appearance on Snoop Dogg’s Malice N Wonderland. Jay Rock, on the other hand, made waves for frequently dissing Ice Cube. Three years later, Terrace Martin and Jay Rock are still doing it big, but they have made room for Kendrick Lamar. Terrace Martin is currently working on his 3ChordFold project, but his latest leak is not included on the project. Jay Rock and Wendi Vaughn are featured on the new track, which is called “Why.”
