Between French Montana and Kendrick Lamar, Interscope Records has new priorities and this no longer includes 50 Cent. But, back in 2003 and through 2005, 50 Cent put out four multi-platinum albums under Interscope Records. Immensely popular, 50 Cent even had longtime rivals, Game and The L.O.X. removed from the label and their albums delayed.
By 2007, 50 Cent found both his popularity and his power in a diminished capacity. However, still, 50 Cent managed to release a platinum album with Curtis. In 2009, 50 Cent saw his popularity bottom out. 50 Cent first found himself in a feud with Rick Ross, who teamed up with Game, Fat Joe, and Ja Rule, and came up short.
Four years later, 50 Cent finds himself at a new high. Now, 50 Cent finds himself actually friends with Jadakiss and Fat Joe. Possibly moved ahead of the G-Unit days, the SMS CEO recently shot a video with Kendrick Lamar. Kidd Kidd, one of the newest G-Unit artists and representing New Orleans, uploaded photos of 50 Cent at the video shoot with Kendrick Lamar.
