Vado talks label situation, DJ Khaled, and possible supergroup with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Early in 2013, Vado has made more news now than he made all of last year. Recently, Vado spoke out about his label situation. In 2010, Vado signed to Interscope Records, originally a deal that included the entire Diplomats Records. But, ultimately, Vado would be the only person to sign to the label and things did not work out.

When Vado began the promotion of Slime Flu 3, he opened up about his label situation. Being an East Coast artist, Vado said he should have paid more attention to the labels in closer proximity to him. Later, Vado hinted on Twitter that he joined DJ Khaled’s label, We the Best, which sent the internet into a frenzy.

The thought of Vado joining Ace Hood, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and the others at YMCMB was too much to handle for the internet. Vado would later reveal there was nothing official, but there were discussions, as was the case with T.I. and Grand Hustle. Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” sat Vado down and he discussed this and Dipset, saying all is well, and his once-discussed supergroup with Lloyd Banks and Fabolous.
