Rockie Fresh talks Maybach Music experience with Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning” [VIDEO]

Right now, Rockie Fresh is the man of the hour and Rick Ross could not possibly be happier. Last week, Maybach Music celebrated the release of Gunplay’s latest mixtape, Cops N RobbersAlso, Wale announced his upcoming album with Jerry Seinfeld, which is yet to have a release date.

But, the attention right now is on Rockie Fresh. Chicago was a hot commodity during the summer of 2012. Several rappers built huge bases and Chief Keef took over the game. An inspired comeback was also delivered by Kanye West. Rick Ross officially expanded to the Windy City, when Rockie Fresh signed to Maybach Music.

Six months have passed since Rockie Fresh signed with the label and Electric Highway is his first release with Maybach Music. The hip hop internet world has closely followed each move Rockie Fresh has made. Hip Hop Vibe was among the outlets to speak to Rockie Fresh, but on Shade 45, Sway Calloway spoke to him.

Celebrating six months on the Maybach Music roster, Rockie Fresh explained to “Sway in the Morning” what this time has been like.
