Lupe Fiasco removed from stage at President Obama’s Inaugural Concert [VIDEO]

Six years ago, Barack Obama announced he would be running for president and inspiring people all over the world. With Barack Obama being best-known for being a senator from Chicago, many rappers jumped behind him. Kanye West and Common jumped behind the future president, but Lupe Fiasco remained silent.

In 2011, Lupe Fiasco returned with his Lasers album. On the album, there was the track titled “Words I Never Said.” Lupe Fiasco released “Words I Never Said” as the first single off the album and it had choice words for President Obama. During the press run for his album, Lupe Fiasco explained there was no love lost for the president.

With President Obama being inaugurated for his second term today, several rappers have made their way to Washington, DC. Lupe Fiasco is among these rappers, but his feelings toward the president have not changed. At an Inaugural Concert, Lupe Fiasco performed the controversial first verse of “Words I Never Said” for thirty minutes and was removed when he was asked to perform another song.
