One thing the internet has shown is that there are various ways to put out new music and no record label is needed. Bow Wow signed to Cash Money Records in 2009, but four years on the label has not produced a new album. When Bow Wow accepted a job as host at BET’s “106 & Park,” fans began to make fun of the rapper.
However, Bow Wow said he is only trying to provide an income for himself and his young daughter. While Bow Wow is working a regular job, he is still focused on making his new music. The wait for his Underrated album continues, but Bow Wow is working on the latest edition of his Greenlight mixtape.
Working on Greenlight 5, Bow Wow has turned to DJ Jus, DJ Ill Will, and DJ Rockstar to host the new mixtape. Previously, Bow Wow revealed collaborations would come from such artists as Jadakiss, Gucci Mane, and Kendrick Lamar. Now, via Twitter, Bow Wow has released the official mixtape cover.
