In 2012, everyone had to sit back and watch as Rick Ross and Maybach Music ran away with the game. Before the first week of 2012 ended, Rick Ross released Rich Forever, hosted by DJ Scream. Over one year since its release, Rich Forever remains the highest-downloaded mixtape in history. The mixtape is noted for the popular track, “Stay Schemin,'” featuring French Montana and Drake. With the year of 2013 opening up, Maybach Music is making plans to run away with this year the same way they did last year. DJ Scream is going solo, however, as he is preparing his MMG 2013 Takeover mixtape. Chief Keef shed the “one hit wonder” title when he released his single, “Love Sosa.” Several rappers have freestyled over the track and remixed it. Now, Rick Ross and Stalley try their hand over the track.
