In 2010, Waka Flocka Flame caught the attention of the rap game with Flockaveli, his debut album. From the start, Waka Flocka Flame built a strong following. A member of the newly-formed 1017 Brick Squad, Waka Flocka Flame seemingly replaced OJ Da Juiceman and was more popular than Gucci Mane.
While his album was released during the early part of 2010, Waka Flocka Flame had enough hits to hold him over. Toward the end of summer, Waka Flocka Flame released his “No Hands” single. The record featured Roscoe Dash and Wale, something many did not expect.
The song became a radio hit and played well into 2011. Now, well over two years since the song was released, Waka Flocka Flame has more to celebrate. Already pleased with his Triple F Life album, he has news from Flockaveli. “No Hands” has certified triple platinum with the RIAA.
