Overlooked due to big brother, New York City, New Jersey has a storied history in hip hop. Newark produced the legendary Redman, while Jersey City produced hip hop’s current hot topic, Joe Budden, and also Ransom. In Newark, there is much more talent rising to the surface, including Metafore.
Metafore is making major moves, impressing most of the people he comes across. Last year, Metafore made moves toward rising to the forefront. Working with Cliff Po, among others, Metafore is ready to claim his rightful position in the rap game. Presently, the young emcee is working on his Meta4: The Mixtape mixtape.
The project will be released next week, on January 13. Metafore’s self-titled mixtape will come as an exclusive Hip Hop Vibe release. With 2013 barely in gear, Metafore hopes to get a jump on the year. Throughout the year, fans should expect more projects to come from Metafore.
