Over the years, Joe Budden has become as much of a personality as he is an artist, given his public antics. Prior to 2007, Joe Budden only claimed fame due to his “Pump it Up” single and since had been written off as a one hit wonder. Little did the world know, as soon the Mood Muzik mixtape series would launch.
While Def Jam played around with Joe Budden’s album release date, the Jersey City rapper had taken matters into his own hands. Eventually, Joe Budden’s mixtape popularity led to him being released from Def Jam. Since then, Joe Budden has released independent albums.
Now, Joe Budden stars in VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop,” placing him opposite of Tahiry Jose, his ex-girlfriend. Since the show started, Joe Budden has been making his media rounds, discussing his personal life. Global Grind talked to Joe Budden and he spoke on having girlfriends and having platonic female friends.
