Had things gone according to his plans, Pill would have been Maybach Music’s breakout artist. Signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2010, Rick Ross agreed to promote Pill alongside the MMG roster when he joined Warner Bros. Records. However, the bulk of the promotion went to Wale and Meek Mill. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. began showing little to no interest in Pill. By December 2011, Pill decided it was time to move on. In a sense of irony, Pill watched while Atlanta returned to prominence in the rap game, following the success of Future, 2 Chainz, Ca$h Out, and the comebacks of Young Jeezy, T.I., and Gucci Mane. However, Pill has remained consistent with his music, returning with his latest leak, “I’m Feelin’ It.” The song is taken from Pill’s upcoming mixtape, Over the Counter Drugs, which still does not have a release date.
