Trouble Man T.I. is currently the man of the hour, as his new album was released yesterday. Everyone has been tripping over themselves to get a word or two from the self-proclaimed king of the South. Overcoming many hardships, T.I. has earned the right to be back in the spotlight.
Owning up to his mistakes made it easier for T.I. to come out and reclaim the position he was forced to give up, three years ago. Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head is the new soundtrack for the streets. One of trap music’s founding fathers, T.I. has his “G Season” record taking over the streets, featuring Meek Mill.
XXL had the chance to talk to T.I. yesterday and he explained how the overall project came together. Had things gone as originally planned, Meek Mill probably would not have been featured on “G Season.” Instead, the head of Meek Mill’s management company, Jay-Z, would have probably had the verse.
