Nas talks Grammy nomination with Boss Lady TV [AUDIO]

This past year, Nas made it look easy, as he re-established himself as a force in this rap game. Promising Life is Good in 2011, Nas was unable to release his tenth studio album. Instead, Nas waited until 2012 and the wait proved to be well worth it, as there was more time to include different songs.

For his efforts, Nas finds himself Grammy-nominated. At the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Nas trails only Kanye West in hip hop nominations. Nas is up for Rap Album of the Year with Life is Good, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with “Cherry Wine,” featuring the late Amy Winehouse, and Best Rap Performance with “Daughters.”

After spending twenty-one years in the rap game, fans would think Nas is happy about being nominated for Grammys. In 1999, Jay-Z, who won big at the Grammys, protested because DMX was not nominated. Nas did not go as far as to protest, but during his interview with Boss Lady TV, he did not appear to be too excited.
