Nominated alongside the likes of NWA and others, Public Enemy will officially be inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Public Enemy sought to raise awareness through their music. Life is full of injustices and Chuck D and company were not having it any longer.

Public Enemy went on to become one of the most-acclaimed groups in the history of hip hop. Flavor Flav wound up being the breakout star from the group. From 2003 through 2008, Flavor Flav was VH1’s biggest personality. His “Flavor of Love” series brought about a new trend in cable television.

In recent years, however, Flavor Flav has been silent. Now, Flavor Flav, along with the rest of Public Enemy, are gearing up for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. Taking place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater, the group is being inducted alongside Quincy Jones and Donna Summer. On April 18, the ceremony will take place and the ceremony will air on May 18.
