“I made more money than I ever made with DTP this year,” 2 Chainz loudly boasted six months ago on DJ Drama’s “My Moment.” 2 Chainz emerged as Atlanta’s biggest artist in 2012. The year has been an overall good year for 2012, DJ Drama continued to release hit singles, himself.
There were many people in 2 Chainz’ corner, including Kanye West and Lil Wayne, among many others. All of this made for anticipation increasing for his long-awaited debut album, Based on a T.R.U. Story. The album was full of hits and 2 Chainz spoke on this during his interview with DJ Drama.
Starting off talking about appearing on “Saturday Night Live,” 2 Chainz spoke on uniting Atlanta. While he is working with the likes of Lil Wayne and Drake, 2 Chainz is making the effort to have Atlanta producers on his tracks. 2 Chainz also spoke on his Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rap Album,’ thanking his supporters, Kanye West and others.
