One of the more entertaining artists in the game, Gunplay received much media attention this year, releasing Bogota and 601 & Snort. A member of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music, Gunplay began separating himself from the name, carving his own name. Still one of Rick Ross’ right-hand men, Gunplay made several notable moves in 2012.

In addition to the music, Gunplay made major news two months ago. Appearing at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, Gunplay wound up fighting several members of G-Unit, including Mike Knox. With the focal point on him, Gunplay ended up being arrested. Weeks later, Gunplay was released and he has dropped a couple of songs since.

Global Grind spoke to Gunplay, who is on house arrest in Miami. Very open, Gunplay discussed everything he was allowed to. With his faith in God, Gunplay said he is hoping for the best when it comes to his legal issues. Gunplay also hinted at being on the Maybach Music tour and admitted to being impartial in the French Montana/50 Cent feud.
