In 2011, there were many rappers who showed they could step up to the plate and become the king of New York. Fred the Godson was among the artists who put up a strong fight in order to gain this title. During this run, Fred the Godson released the album-worthy mixtape, City of God, with DJ Drama.
Due to being from New York City and his stature, Fred the Godson earned comparisons to The Notorious B.I.G. While Fred the Godson has a much different style than Biggie. Still, with their similar vocal patterns, it was easy to compare the two rappers.
Fred the Godson recently paid a visit to Vlad TV and The Notorious B.I.G. was discussed. With the topic coming up, Fred the Godson admitted he, too, was a fan of the deceased emcee. During his interview with Vlad TV, Fred the Godson also recited his favorite B.I.G. verse.
