A year has passed since Future began his magical run, which turned him into the next big thing in the rap game. Future should have a new appreciation for Scarface, as his single, “Tony Montana,” made him a star. Many rappers, starting with Drake, jumped on the track, raising the profile of Future.
There was a bit of controversy, however, once Drake jumped on the “Tony Montana” track. When it was time for the music video to be filmed, Drake’s camp refused to take part in the filming. Obviously disappointed, Future shrugged it off and said he was grateful to Drake for even working with him in the first place.
One year later, Future is a star in his own right, with Lil Wayne jumping on his songs. The next project from Future is Medusa, which is a joint effort with French Montana. When Future last appeared in Los Angeles, he discussed Medusa with the L.A. Leakers, along with working with Drake.
