Blame It On The System: Turk gives back with YNT Incarcerated outreach to prison inmates [PHOTOS]

Since Turk was released from prison in 2012, he has become the hottest member of the Hot Boyz, behind Lil Wayne. When Turk talked to Hip Hop Vibe, he proved to be hungry and ready to claim his spot. It’s going on two years and Turk remains as eager as possible to get his music out there for the world to hear.

Few current artists are as passionate and eager about the game as Turk, but he has paid dues, so he knows how much worse things could be. While Turk had the opportunity to get out, there are others who didn’t. Turk is well aware of this, so he did something about it.

Turk has YNT Incarcerated that is an outreach, of sorts, to those who are still behind bars. This brand includes t-shirts and a magazine for the inmates to check out. When Turk placed photos of his movement on Instagram, he had his own statement about what the brand is.

Read Turk’s definition of YNT Incarcerated below:

#YntIncarcerated….Was established with the sole purpose of providing a platform for those men incarcerated, who have taken responsibility for their past behaviors, and have made commitments to use their God-Given Gifts to Rebuild Those Communities That They Helped To Destroy. #MrYoungNThuggin#YntIncarceratedIsAMovement
