How B.o.B. got to where he is proved to be an interesting story. Often compared to the legendary Andre 3000, B.o.B. carved his own lane in the game. Bobby Ray, his given name, also managed to redefine T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records. Earlier this year, B.o.B. released his sophomore album, Strange Clouds.
It has been two years since the hip hop world questioned who B.o.B. was. Now, he is a fixture on countless hip hop websites and magazines. One of the biggest rappers in the game, B.o.B. has few worries. But, there was once a time when he questioned if he was doing the right thing, as did those around him.
MTV has sat numerous rappers down for their “This Is How I Made It” series. Among the artists who have been featured include 2 Chainz and Mac Miller. Now, B.o.B. spoke with the series. During his segment, B.o.B. admitted he did not have the support of his father starting out.
