With the invention of spaceships, the sky has not been any form of limit since at least the 1960s. Fortunately for Birdman and his brother Slim, they were not born until the 1970s. This allowed for the brothers to plot a takeover for the 1990s to be multimillionaires in the 2000s.

Cash Money Records defied all the odds, avoiding the pitfalls hit by other boutique labels, such as Roc-A-Fella Records and No Limit. Birdman and Slim have kept the label going without keeping it small, as Dr. Dre has done with Aftermath. Instead, the company signs both popular artists and labels, if need be, and they sign artists.

During a recent interview with MTV News, Birdman revealed Cash Money Records had sold 500 million albums since its inception. With French Montana by his side, Birdman continued to speak on the label. Asked how many records he wants to sell yearly, Birdman replied with 100.
