Philadelphia is currently at the center of the hip hop world. The year of 2012 has been a good one for Philadelphia. Tone Trump would get signed to Young Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz label and is preparing his debut. Meanwhile, Meek Mill is currently at the forefront of the game, fresh off his Dreams and Nightmares release.
This year, there were also two key Philadelphia comebacks, which brought back memories of State Property. Beanie Sigel returned with his This Time album before he began his prison sentence. However, Freeway has caught the most attention, as he is preparing his Diamond in the Ruff album.
After much promotion and discussion, Freeway released Diamond in the Ruff today and he has been making his media rounds. Appearing with different outlets over the past few days, Freeway spoke to The Fader today. Freeway spoke on the new album and what he has in store for the future.
