Taking the year off, where albums are concerned, Ace Hood went on a tear with his mixtapes this year. Ace Hood started things off with Starvation and continued the strong wave with Body Bag, Vol. 2. Now, Ace Hood plans to close the year out with the sequel to his Starvation mixtape.
Ace Hood endured a transition, as his time with Def Jam came to an end when DJ Khaled decided to move We the Best Music Group to Cash Money Records. Fortunately for Ace, the head of Cash Money, Birdman, has deep interests in working with him. Birdman is excited about helping Ace Hood rise to Lil Wayne-like proportions in the game.
Edgar Esteves would be recruited to get footage of Ace Hood and DJ Khaled, as they put together Starvation 2. Ace Hood has released several viral hits through his previous two mixtapes this year. More mixtape hits are likely on the way, as Ace Hood and DJ Khaled continue to do what they do.
