Anticipation for Kendrick Lamar to release his good kid, m.A.A.d. city album was high. Kendrick Lamar has been one of the biggest rappers to come out of Los Angeles since the rise of Game. As fate would have it, both rappers are from Compton and both have been guided, and still are, by Dr. Dre.

Game has gone on to be one of hip hop’s most interesting figures. In recent months, the world has learned how far Game would go for Kendrick Lamar. Shyne actually called good kid, m.A.A.d. city trash and Game called him out because of it. Most of his career, Game and Shyne shared a powerful bond.

In the midst of their minor tiff, Kendrick Lamar has continued to blaze the trail, becoming one of the biggest new artists in the game. Kendrick Lamar recently released his debut album. The album sales are in and Kendrick Lamar charted at number two on Billboard, selling 242,000 copies in its first week.
